I use a dark piece of fabric behind the item, and use a digital camera. Pictures make all the difference so take several to get a good one and be sure they are in focus! LOL

It is good to take picture of the selling ebay products in such a way, the best matches the products special features. When the products picture and the description of the selling products match, people are more interested to purchase the product.

As I sell many smaller items I usually use a camera and take a picture of several items at once then prepare the pictures in photoshop.

Products are made for this such as a "white box," products are placed in a white box so they appear to be free standing depending on how the picture is taken.
